It’s been over three months since the first BL4P camp took place in southeastern Turkey, and momentum from this groundbreaking initiative continues to build.
Grassroots BL4P teams, called ‘local chapters’ are now meeting in four cities, with the newest one from Kirikhan formed this past week.
The goal of each team is to continue to build community with one another as Turks, Syrians, Kurds, and Iraqis, and to build peace in their local communities through acts of love and service. Recently, Team Antakya partnered with local charity Kids paradise to reach out to a local school of mostly Syrian students through songs, games, and a message that ‘peace is possible’.
As the movement continues to grow, more peace-building activities will be taking place in more communities.
