Shortly after returning home from the first BL4P Peace Camp, participants in the cities of Gaziantep and Reyhanli in southeastern Turkey met to continue strategizing about how to build peace in their own communities. The meetings were dynamic and filled with possibilities as these newly formed Local Chapters brainstormed numerous ideas on how to reach out into their cities with acts of love and kindness across ethnic and religious lines.
As a statement of their core belief that love is the most powerful force on the planet, stronger than fear and man-made weapons, they distributed balloons, flowers, sweets, and cards which read:
“Break your word, hold your shovel, and follow me to plant peace and love in the heart of the earth.”
Special thanks to local participants Hasan and Baraa for filming. Music by blien vesne – Fundamentos para una vida espiritual sana.
